BATALLA is a Parisian luxury house established in 2026, stemming from the conviction that human and environmental health no longer need to be compromised for the sake of fashion. Rooted in craftsmanship, quality, and innovation, the house is guided by a deep respect for natural, millennia-old materials and the exceptional hands that shape them.

This translates into an uncompromising commitment – a house-wide rejection of fossil-derived materials, of all materials, not just fabric alone. BATALLA proves that integrity and desire are not opposing forces, but one creative language.

Our promise

Material: All our materials are traced back to natural origins, and absolutely no petrochemical materials are used to construct our garments — BATALLA proves that it is finally possible for a luxury house to completely eliminate these harmful ‘forever’ materials. We are taking this commitment to the next level by also introducing natural fabric dyes.

Craftmanship: Our pieces are crafted exclusively in the European Union in partnership with the most respected luxury ateliers. Proximity enables both transparency and trust, and every material and process is documented and shared — from the origin of a thread to the provenance of a button.

Longevity: BATALLA pieces are not designed by season, they are engineered to last decades. Production is intentionally limited — each piece is made to be worn, cherished, and eventually passed on. Should the time come to part with a piece, BATALLA’s upcoming take-back program and repair atelier will extend this commitment even further.

The team

BATALLA’s founder, Jon Pagels, spent the past two decades shaping the Haute Couture and luxury fashion industry from the inside out — across New York, Milan, London, Beirut, and Paris. Understanding the system in its full complexity is the only honest foundation for challenging it.

BATALLA has been his life’s project long before it had a name. Early in his career, the amounting overuse of fossil-derived materials in fashion struck him as a failure the luxury industry had accepted. BATALLA is the brand he spent twenty years imagining as a counterbalance to this reality.

The team is composed of a talented group of pattern makers, sewers, and craftsmen, and with the partnership of historic fabric weavers, leather smiths, and metal smiths. Together we share the same commitment that any dream, no matter how inconceivable, is achievable.
